I am very excited to be driving in this event. MAF and RMVR have combined to make a real difference in the lives of many, many children and young adults. By providing the funds for on-going research, RMVR and its donor partners are contributing to the successes MAF is having in in developing treatments for kids not only here on the Front Range, but around the world. I hope you will give generously to this worthwhile endeavor by clicking the donate button nearby.
Why do you support the Race Against Kids’ Cancer?RAKC is one of the most worthy causes I can think of, they do such good work and the enthusiasm from the kids that visit the track on race day is inspiring.
Why do you race for RMVR?My car is old for one thing, but seriously it’s the caring and family like atmosphere that make the weekends most enjoyable.
What is your favorite car to race?I don’t have much experience in other cars so I would have to say my car, but all the Mid-Big Bore cars are my favorite.
What is your scariest racing story?Last year at High Plains on the first lap, out of turn 3 a car spun and kicked up a huge cloud of dust right in front of me. I could see nothing, so I had no choice to steer straight ahead and hope no cars were on the other side. Fortunately the road was clear, but it could have turned out much worse.
What’s your favorite track and why?High Plains Raceway, for sure. It’s got a little bit of everything. Fast straights, tight corners, sweeping corners and elevation change. Very fun.
