Over the last several years my car racing club, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR.com), has put on a special race to benefit the Morgan Adams Foundation (MAF) http://www.morganadamsfoundation.org.

Each year since my rookie season many of you have helped me raise donations for this charity, which provides for pediatric cancer research, and I’m very grateful. The money raised over the years has paid for critical research and lab equipment used at Children's Hospital here in Denver. These donations you’re making have contributed to actively saving children’s lives and reducing their suffering. Thanks to MAF funding, there are now kids who are cancer free and who for the first time have real hope.

Will you please join with me this year by contributing a tax-deductible donation of any amount? To date, RMVR has raised over $800,000 for the Morgan Adams Foundation. The goal this year is to raise enough to surpass the $1M mark.  Last year you helped me raise almost $2000!

Raising my goal a bit each year, this year I’d like to nail a $2,000 goal. It’d be fantastic if we could substantially exceed last year's funds raised!

I cannot process donations sent directly to me; this link above is the only way to give.  I would love it if you’d come out and watch me race if you’d like! You don’t have to be a “car guy or gal” to enjoy a day at the track! The race weekend is August 4-5 at High Plains Raceway east of Denver.

Directions to High Plains Raceway: I-70 east > past Strasburg to Byers > Exit 316 to US 36/CR2/East 15th Avenue east (left turn) to Anton > approximately 18 miles. The entrance is marked by a small sign near the far end. Wander around the paddock area until you find my car (see picture above). Drive time is about an hour from Denver. Food vendors and facilities are on-site.

While I don’t want anyone to feel obligated to donate, thank you so much for considering this opportunity to give to this great cause! Let's see if all of us working together again this year can break the previous record!
